taciturnitās

I wanted to name my blog something pretentious. Thus, Latin. Pretentiousness; aside its egotistical connotation, I believe its subject is important. The choice of the crowd we are trying to sound important to, is sincere. So it carries some actual meaning from the pretentious person.

Taciturnitās is one of the earliest words I have learned in Latin, it means silence. This seems contradictory for a name of a blog but whatever. Actually, the act of writing is (almost) silent. So, it is not (fully) wrong.

I will try to document my mathematics journey here. I am now a 3rd year mathematics undergraduate student from Turkey. The second year was rough for me. We will see what the future holds. Mihi panis edundus est.
