The album has the feeling of acceptance towards forthcoming troubles around love, around people. The verses support a care-free approach to these thorns of life and encourages heartfelt actions regardless of judgment. On the other hand, the verses convey the image of fake friendships, self-pity, and a little bit of helplessness.
I loved almost all the songs on the album. As the songs on Pink Moon was composed and recorded only by Nick Drake, the sincerity is palpable. I can imagine myself looping the album on a quiet day, simply idling or immersed away in some old book.

The album cover is absolutely great and quite abstract. The stamp in the middle seems to contain Apollo 11 spaceship. There is a teeth-looking white heart with a clown make-up. The ball in the middle has a leaf (like of an orange), a rope, three holes (like of a bowling ball), and a section resembling a section of a cheese on it. There is also a coffee bean and a cup on the art.
